How do I schedule my first appointment?

What should I expect during the initial appointment?
It’s a gentle space for us to get to know each other, discuss your needs, and ensure you feel comfortable with our clinical approach.
Why should I pay privately instead of using my insurance?
Private pay gives you full control over your care — no diagnosis required on your permanent record, no limits on session number or treatment approach, no insurnace access to your session notes, and a higher level of confidentiality. Many clients find that investing in themselves this way also reflects a deeper commitment to the work. (Read more on the Fees page.)
Are there virtual options available for sessions?
Yes, I offer secure telehealth services to provide flexibility and support from the comfort of your own home. Available throughout the state of Florida.
How is this different from other therapy I've tried before?
Many women come to me after trying traditional talk therapy and feeling like they "talked in circles" without real change. Because I integrate art therapy and somatic awareness, we're able to access patterns and emotions that sometimes live below the reach of words alone.​​​​​​​​
Do I have to make art?
No! There is never any pressure to engage in art-making, and you get to determine if that is a part of your treatment. Depending on your needs and preferences, sessions may be solely talk therapy or a combination with Art Therapy.
Do you accept insurance?
I accept Capital Health Plan (CHP) and United Healthcare.
What is your policy regarding appointment cancellations?
I kindly ask for 24 hours' notice to allow me to offer that time to someone else. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will result in an $100 cancellation fee. No shows are responsible for the full session fee of $150.
